I get the public health concern, but it's ridiculous. My son is two sport athlete. He has been hesitant to get the vaccine. One of his housemates had covid but nobody tested positive for it. That said, he certainly has been exposed. He was going to get it later in the Summer after this training cycle, but with his good friend suffering from this, his incentive level is very low. BTW, his school is NOT requiring the vax. They have a very, very strong College of Health Science and Professions with nationally recognized programs in Nursing, PT, OT, PA, and Public Health. I think they are a bit more resistant to peer pressure and understand the science. They were in the classroom all year last year and managed this far, far better than the vast majority of organizations. They did not have the big breakouts most colleges did.
