I am interested by all the doom and gloom here re: the SCOTUS ruling.

Why exactly do you think this "will be the end of college football as we know it?"

SCOTUS vs NIL vs players are employees.all different things. And I don't foresee any player being on the payroll of a school. But I cannot see any downside to lifting caps on educational expenses (SCOTUS) or NIL

A few responses to common ideas that I saw scrolling all the replies on this topic:
- Would you rather Bull & Bones pay the school to put an ad in the program or pay the star RB to shoot a commercial?
- Some people making more money than others, doing sorta kinda the same thing, is no different than literally any other profession
- How does this condense the college football power even more? If anything, I think it spreads it out. "Big fish little pond" concept. Would you rather get lost in the shuffle as a 4 star at Southern Cal or be the man at Boise St? AND get paid off your NIL at the correct market rate of being "the man"

Just a few random thoughts but I cannot see downside to this. I would hope this starts to make VT more competitive as the money is now (legally) allowed to flow thru different avenues and not always to our Athletic Dept
