No, but years ago a tree ten feet from the house got smoked


and blew out the tv set maybe fifteen feet away just inside. But more to the point haven't really heard of that happening in ages, Might have been a tube tv also, I would imagine circuitry these days (are more able) to handle those kinds of surges etc.

I've never unplugged anything in at least 30 years, course the house hasn't been hit by lightning either.

OK, maybe hedge little bit, make sure pc is off during a storm just in case we lose power.
