It will be interesting to see how Clemson's and Pitt's women's lacrosse ...


programs do in their early years. With the transfer portal, you can build a decent sports program in a short time. I remember when Louisville added women's lacrosse and I thought Tech would get at least one win a year but Louisville built a competitive program in a short time and beat Tech like everyone else in the ACC did before John Sung took over the program. It wouldn't surprise me that both Pitt and Clemson will be as good as Tech and Louisville during their early years. Pitt already has 2 college All-Americans as grad students (one being Tech's greatest WLAX player of all-time, Paige Petty) and veteran transfers from top notch programs like Syracuse and Florida on their roster. Pitt may finish ahead of Tech and Louisville in 2022.
