.......I find it hard to take a P5 athletic program seriously that does not have swimming, one of the key Olympic sports and maybe the ultimate participation sport. I live in an area where swimming is massively popular - to wit, tomorrow there will 54 dual meets between local pools in the area with cars and faces painted and neighborhoods shaking with the cheering of both teams). The investment in a natatorium is also an investment in the community with local club teams and swim lessons almost always taking place in college pools as well. It just surprises me that any P5 program does not have swimming.
