Koufax….

“The Koufax years of 1963 to 1966 are the finest four-year stretch of pitching that major league baseball has ever seen – or likely will see. Koufax’s seasonal W-L record during that period was 25-5, 19-5, 26-8, and 27-9. His ERAs were 1.88, 1.74, 2.04 and 1.73. His strikeouts were an otherworldly 306, 223, 382 and 313. He pitched four no-hitters and one perfect game.”

In his 12 season career he pitched 137 complete games a had 40 shutouts.
