Right out of Tech, my wife was a pharmaceutical sales rep in Roanoke.


Keep in mind this was 1982. Those docs were so in the back pocket of drug reps/companies. My entire little, one car garage was filled with gifts that were handed out to doctors. To go along with the all expense paid trips. I've still got golf balls from that inventory.

That area of the book was her territory. She worked for McNeil which was a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.
Some of the stories she tells.

She got out after a few years. Didn't enjoy it.
And they paid those reps unbelievably.
