I had my ACL surgery at age 36.


It was 4 months of serious recovery PT that got me to 80%.

It was another 3 months to get to 90/95%.

Not sure I ever got back to 100%.

Ice is a huge key to recovery. The more the better. Get her a Knee Ice Pack Wrap - Cold Gel Compression Brace. After the initial swelling goes down, it will help with recovery for the next year or so.
