Anyone ever torn an ACL?

My daughter was knocked over going for a rebound in an AAU tournament at Spooky Nook in PA. Landed hard a d off balance and tore her ACL.

She’ll be a senior this coming fall, and the school basketball season is six months away. She was just getting g moementum with recruiting from D3 schools

My thought is at 17 years old, ACL surgery give the best long term outcome. But how will the recovery period look?
