I have a roku and a couple Apple TV’s.


The roku menu is just a bit better than the smart TVs. I prefer the Apple TV interface a lot more. And we can view use our phones as remotes on the Apple TV devices.

Roku is certainly much cheaper. So I have bought them for secondary TVs and for my college daughters. You won’t go wrong.

But I use photos extensively on my macs and phones so I like the way the Apple TV ties it all together.
