Dang it! Hate when I screw up a simple task!


Was flushing the brake fluid, and I took my time to do everything by the book. I use a Motive Power Flush bottle, and I did my best to check it after each corner of the truck except the last. Then I crawled under to bleed the slave cylinder, and as the brake fluid started turning clear...bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble...

Dang, I ran the bottle dry. What really chaffs my butt is that I bought a large and a small bottle of brake fluid just to ensure I had enough to do all four corners plus the slave...I just didn't pour the small bottle into the Motive bottle. I wanted to wait until I knew I needed it, but didn't check the last time. I thought about checking just as the air started coming through the line.

Augggggghhhhhhh!

No worries. I'll just visit my local parts store for another large bottle of brake fluid and repeat the process tomorrow morning...minus the part where I forget to pour both bottles into the Motive bottle...lol
