Was getting my license and an older guy, probably in his 80s comes in to get the eye test. Not only could he not see very well, but he was unable to follow the directions to read the letters on the second line from left to right. This went on for about 10 mins until he finally got enough of them right (though it seemed that he was picking stuff from all the lines from the conversation) and they handed him a license. The idea of him being behind the wheel is frightening.

I know how hard it is on people, I watched my grandfather struggle as his kids did what they felt was best for him by taking his cars away and removing the guns from his house, and it hurts me to this day to remember the day he said to me "How am I going to protect my family" but it was the safe thing to do for him and those around him.
