I don't know what world most people live in. But on my first job out of VT I was super excited to work for a "real" company. I remember being so excited to finally meet the owner of my company. It was a multi-million dollar company. Surely this man had something I didn't. He was a nice enough man when he came to my cube. But what I saw was a man that barely looked up, and his dark colored suit was covered in cat hair. At that point I realized if he can do it, so can I. So....I guess I owe my success to a sloppily dressed man in a weird way. Most so called "nerds" don't end up as Bill Gates. They end up working for a guy like me. Sounds harsh....but its the reality that I have lived.
