I think they knew, it was really just that the scoreboard was wrong...

It showed match final was 6-4 for the longest time...the actual score was 7-4.

1st 3 criteria are pretty well known, usually each team has an assistant tracking match points through out so they knew what was needed, it was just verifying the match final score.
