Question: Individual competition versus team

Still learning about wrestling culture. Fascinated that no one seemed to know the team situation when Latona was wrestling ... it was all about Latona, not winning the team dual. Is that right?

If you watch the twitter highlight, notice at the very end that Robie and Frayer are studying the scoreboard when the wrestlers are mobbing Latona.
