New kitchen sink (for new counters): Drop-in versus Undermount? It seems to

me that the undermount just isn't as sanitary due to the seam where the top of the sink and bottom of the counter meet. Can anyone here provide any insight or guidance? I'm not particularly germophobic but I envision a permanent colony of black mildew just out of sight on the underside of the counter (likely granite). TIA
