Lawn gurus (or those who slept at a Holiday In Express last night)

Hey Lounge, I could use some lawn info/advice. FWIW I live in the Philly burbs.

To cure my pandemic boredom I decided to dethatch my yard (bought a Greenworks electric dethatcher). Backyard worked well (very dense grass, not sure what type, pulled up lots of thatch). Front yard is another story. It has areas of a grass that I can't ID. Very fine blades, and I've noticed in the past it doesn't seem to form much of an in-ground root network. If I grab soem and pull it lifts away from the ground. Suffice it to say the dethatcher ripped the hell out of it. So my questions are:

1) What type of grass is this?
2) If I overseed with tall fescue can I outcompete this stuff? (I'd like to replace this stuff with fescue or other "normal" grass if possible)
3) Have I destroyed my front yard?

TIA
