Without electrical experience it is unwise to attempt.


It’s a quick deal for someone that knows what they are doing. You don’t want to burn your house down doing work like that and have to explain that to the insurance company. Stick to the easy jobs like fixtures or ceiling fans.

Box work requires more careful work. I have done some myself but I grew up around some electricians.
