Here's the problem with skipping a year...


It sounds easy right? 4 years of college, I'll do one online from a local CC and save some bucks. The problem is that many majors have labs and studio classes that have to be taken in sequence. For example, architecture. You have a design studio every semester and they have to be taken i sequence and you can't double up and take 3rd year and 4th year studios at the same time. By taking a year off you may clear out an english or math requirement but you end up taking longer to graduate.
