The case count is still alarmingly high. What the misreporting of the %


positivity does is make it hard to determine why the case count is high. If I am testing a lot more people this week than last week, I expect there to be more cases. If the number of new cases are too high though, then something else is going on. So the % of positive cases out of total tests is an important metric. If last week it was 8%, and this week it's 11%, then that shows it's not just increased testing. If however some of my labs are not reporting negative test results and reporting an inflated positivity rate, then it's hard to get a read on what is going on. Again, FL has a Covid problem, but it also seems to have a data problem, which makes it hard to know exactly how bad the Covid problem really is.
