For point of clarity, I was not intending to include the little old lady standing by herself on a street corner in Pearisburg with a BLM sign. If people want to demonstrate peacefully, I have no issue with that. But when that demonstration comes with the certainty of concurrent violence, it has gone too far. So what do you do? As I’m sure George Floyd would have wanted, the country and certainly the burning cities need a few days off to breathe.
