Just a little anecdotal Covid 19 story that may have relevance...
Some have expressed uncertainty as to whether or not they may have already had the virus, having experienced symptoms previous to the widespread reports. We live in the Keys, and I am exposed to international travelers regularly. My wife and I both had "something" for a full 6 weeks - including the telltale dry cough - in the Jan/Feb time frame. I called it Covid 18, the feisty little brother, but was left to wonder, really.
Well today, my wife went in for antibody testing and the results were negative. A bit flummoxed perhaps, but logic had sunk in for me a while back that the odds we had it weren't that high.
So how many others are in this boat? And who is gung-ho to head out into the new "open" world armed with that info? Herd immunity is great, I guess, when you are part of the herd.
And the Keys will once again be open to the unwashed masses starting June 1. We had shut down Rte 1 to visitors and curb-stomped the curve to a total of 99 cases so far, with 3 deaths (population 60-75k - no one really knows, haha). So, when the gates swing open, send me your positive waves out there.
