I like Marmot. Patagonia and North Face have a "homeowner" line

Kind of lower quality, but a little bit higher price stuff so people will still get the boutique feel when they buy. I got a North Face soft shell from my employer a little while back and was really disappointed with it, really kind of an ordinary jacket when you get down to it

Didn't see it listed but I still have a Sierra Designs rain shell that I use working outside in rain. That unit is 20 years old and still repels rain, though some of the tape seams have turned loose. That's fine with me because it was $50 in '99 or so.
