Speaking of "active" clothing, what brands give you the most for the $

I buy everything on sale, so I'm only talking about buying "on sale"

LL Bean - darn good solid clothing for the money. Possibly the best gear for the $

Land's End - similar to LLB, but not quite as durable.

Colombia - good stuff at decent prices. (Used to be great prices, but they jacked their prices a while back to compete (on price) with everything else.) They used to be the best gear for the $, but after their prices increased, they dropped "into the pack" with most everyone else.

Marmot - good stuff at reasonable prices

Ex Officio - good stuff at reasonable prices.

North Face - decent stuff at reasonable prices

Mountain Hardware - good stuff at reasonable prices

Rab - good stuff from the UK

Outdoor Research - darn good stuff!

Patagonia - darn good stuff, but you pay...a lot...then pay some more

Arc'Teryx - darn good stuff...see Patagonia

I own something from every one listed except Arc'Teryx. Haven't seen their gear go on sale for 50% off yet...lol Not sure if I have a OR product...think I may have bought one years ago...
