So my dream

I am 53 and how long i continue to work is really based on how much longer this start up thing in SF is still fun. I have three kids all teenagers, so it would probably make sense for me to get them through college before hanging it up.

When I finally quit, I think I want to move to mexico and buy beater colonial homes and turn them into gringo paradise homes, and sell them. I love construction and creative stuff, so the wife and I are both onboard about doing this.

So I need a city that has good prospects for this. Any advice appreciated. I love san miguel by the way. Love it, love it, love it. What attracts me to Merida is that it is closer the beach and is more of a city in terms of size.

Maybe, I could swing two homes, one in Merida in the cold months and one in the colonial highlands in the summer.
