Actually, I believe your HR is in a majority


Sad, but companies just fear lawsuits.

My brother had companies that pushed back, but he just plowed though all the paperwork and corporate process (minimum 6 month process) to fire someone hoping that they would turn themselves around first, but if not, we no longer need your services.

Companies generally do not fire anymore, but just do not give a raise to the individuals. Some will leave, but others will hang out for 20 years like that which I find is amazing.

Recently, my friend who is in management in manufacturing, there was an employee who was under his 6 month probationary period leave his duty spot where they almost shut down production.

They found the guy banging another employee. He was release on the spot, but she had been there for years and retained. I find that fricking crazy.
