That cracks me up

The director when he was assigned to the project said he will work hard for a year but you will get no running code and a blown budget. Hell, we did our development work on PCs and I found hard coded C: throughout his code that was getting deployed in a UNIX environment. This is simple stuff to work around.

His project manager\ HR manager gave him an unsatisfactory review. That review went up to the executive director and he went around to all the teams he had worked with and same old story.

I got stuck with him at another customer site and project. I would see him working on another project while billing for this site. I let management know but he was only going to be there for a few more weeks.

I have seen this before at another company myself.

A friend went to management in another 3rd company about an employee and he wanted to tell me what they said. I said: The customer sees the team work and right now we make money off the guy. He was like you seen this before. Hell, yeah I have.

Universal clearances across agencies would help solve this problem. If you have a polygraph for a particular agency you most likely will be employed.

With last guy, he got one more gig within the company. He then found himself not fully utilized and was laid off.
