Speaking of energy production, I've wondered if someone has thought...


...about building a small "portable" natural gas power plant that can be trucked to drilling sites that normally burn it off because it's too expensive to run pipes out there. What if you only needed to run an electrical line from the grid to the portable generators?

When I say small, I'm talking something that can be rolled out to the site on a 18-wheeler. I'm guessing it probably isn't cost effective, thus we haven't seen it.
