I agree an undefeated P5 conference champion shouldn't be left out

Scheduling on short notice will become the biggest obstacle unless the Playoff Inc. would play the neutral site game at another school's stadium. If the Playoff Inc. and ESPN want the neutral site games played at NFL stadiums, then there is a risk a NFL game or some other event is scheduled the same day as when the Playoff game is supposed to be played. I guess that is one of the reasons I could see the Playoffs permanently expand to 8 teams. Plus, it makes it cleaner from a contractual standpoint because ESPN has a fixed amount it pays the Playoff Inc. and the Playoff Inc. has a fixed amount it pays to the participating conferences/teams.
