I agree. I would like to see an exemption that might not be logistically


do-able though. If all 5 major conferences have unbeaten champions (which hasn't happened yet), then for just that circumstance have an 8-team bracket. Seed the top 3 and give them a home game against the #6, 7 and 8 ranked teams. Have 4 and 5 play at a neutral site.

3 of the 5 champions finished undefeated. I think it would a crime if any unbeaten power 5 teams got left out. Anyway, I know there's some reasons why this can't be, but still, it would be cool.
