No, my Dad was a late comer, and after he graduated from...................

aviation cadets and got his butter bars and his wings, they told him that because he was color blind, he could not go into a combat wing! So they made him an instructor pilot, flying B-25's stateside to train navigators and bombardiers!

Thank goodness for me, since color blindness is a male dominate trait, that I am not!

But yes, the two aircraft that my Dad and I flew were very similar in size, but very different in capabilities, to say the least!
