Wow. Cool. Not many too many guys ever flew in a Mitchell.

I wonder if your Dad and my Grandfather ever crossed paths. I would have never guessed an F-4 was so close in size but I always envisioned the Mitchell to be much bigger until I actually laid eyes on it year. Glad I got to see them all last year. The Mustang they had at the same event looked like it would be a blast to fly.
