It is as I expected. If this was a Stanford football board, six of you would have started crypto companies 😂😂, but Hokies are conservative. No criticism, just a fact.

It is not anonymous. Charlie Shrem spent two years in jail for violating KYC laws as CEO of Bitinstant. If you put money in Coinbase for example, they use one of the kyc technologies like Socure to confirm who you are. They also fill out SARs(suspicious activity reports) just like a bank. I have worked in financial services for a long time so I get the appeal. I have built ACH networks, debit card networks, credit card networks, online bill pay, and other things so I understand what Satoshi was trying to do. It took me awhile to pay attention to it due to being busy on other things.

The real adoption, will come from places like Venezuela, South Africa, and I bet China. There are only 21 million bitcoins possible, while there are hypothetically unlimited US dollars, so I wouldn’t be so sure about it going to zero.
