You can’t think of it like the banking that we do


For the criminals who use it, they need to move money around without it getting caught and then launder it into clean money. That is a complicated process so the structure of crypto gives them flexibility. And that flexibility makes it harder to provide oversight and catch the bad guys. It is changing from the old days where they would just over pay for a mansion in Miami or condo in NY and use the real estate to move the money.
