What "flexibility" is that? other than anonymity needed for illicit

Transactions? The flexibility is in remaining anonymous. It's not flexibility in the same way that credit cards give you flexibility over a paper check. Is Bitcoin any more convenient or "flexible" than Paypal, a debit or credit card? If anything it's much less so since hardly anybody accepts Bitcoin as payment. It's speculation and anonymity, period.
