I always said if I could have got a job in Roanoke ini 1994, I would have

never left the RKE/NRV region. However I now have my accounting practice well established in Hampton Roads. I couldn't leave here if I wanted to. And at the end of the day, I don't want to. I have lived here all my life and I can't see myself living anywhere else -- as long as I'm working.

If I ever get to retire, that could certainly change. I love Myrtle Beach. I love Blacksburg. I love the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area of Tennessee. I could live in any of those places and be happily retired. The first time my wife went to Florida she said she could see us living there. I reminded her she doesn't deal well with heat and humidity. At all. She wouldn't last two weeks in summer down there. She immediately agreed. LOL
