Thats interesting. I've been teaching for 15 years and the school year has


Always been 180 days.....never more, but sometimes less.
I think that is Virginia law. I know it seems we have shorter spring breaks or start/end earlier/later, but that is likely because we have other days off built in and usually 2 full weeks for Christmas. Days off for things like presidents day or election day means we have to add other days.
