At that age, definitely


we took K and 5th grader out for a week to go to disney last year. thinking about doing the same this year. In elementary school, I think it's an easy yes, assuming kids are okay in school and nothing major will be missed. Middle school and high school would be tougher decision, and I'd say it depends on trip.
