We all did 23 and Me. When I sent it in, they told me I could not see

my health info but a year later, some law changed, and they have sent me about 200 genetic and metabolic test results and they keep sending more occasionally. Fascinating. Pretty clean bill of health.

Ancestry was spot on for me, but my sons wondered where they got a good percentage of Irish and Spanish, from Crazy Guy and he didn't know. I also know someone who discovered the man who raised him isn't his bio father. The parents knew and worked it out but they never told him so there are surprises.

My cousins who used it popped up on my 'relatives' accurately and listed lots of other people. My youngest brother has been doing the family genealogy so the names were helpful to him.

As far as submitting DNA, maybe health insurance companies can use it against you in the future. I am already fingerprinted so big deal.
