That was my mom. But I think that is more of a last resort


than a go-to. Her shoulder is at the point where even a replacement probably wouldn't do that much good, and the recovery for someone who is close to 80 years old would be brutal.

Deadening the nerve was an option that I think is in the same neighborhood as "treating" cancer with morphine. Doesn't fix a darned thing, but makes it easier to live with.

If PT or some form of arthroscopic surgery is a good option, absolutely exhaust those first.
