The indoor track is 1/8 of a mile, and it has 8 turns.


I usually get a little rubbing on the top of a toe with new shoes. I'm using the exact same model (same version of the shoe) as my last running shoes, and expect they'll be OK after a short break-in period. In the mean time, I'll have a Band-Aid on that toe this week, and "moleskin" on it next week.

I'm tempted to wear my "old" shoes tomorrow to see how they feel...
