I use Verizon for internet, but ...

they are essentially holding me hostage. I no longer need a land line, but if I drop it, my costs go UP because of the stupid bundle. I have 6 (I know - too many) set top boxes including 2 DVRs so my monthly equipment costs alone are $93.

I believe I can get the Gigabyte internet from them for 'only' $79 and drop everything else. That will save me about $125 per month because I can then drop my land line as well. Once I add in the cost for Hulu or YouTube I am looking at saving about $80 per month, which isn't bad.
