I'm in the same boat.

I don't even use my landline anymore and don't have a phone plugged into it but we are still on the bundle because of what you said. I do not believe they will give you the $79.99 rate. Someone else on here called and the best they could get was over $100 ($120?). The $79.99 rate is only for new customers. I have looked to see if I can switch to Cox or Infinity and I can't. They are not available in my neighborhood. Almost seems illegal.
