They can be really annoying for a cyclist

I bike commute to work fairly regularly and they've put one near my work. When they did this they thoughtfully narrowed the lanes coming into it and going out. This forces me to take the lane on my bike - I can't possibly leave space to be passed. I'm in my rights to claim the lane, but it's just stupid for me to do that and I really hate having cars right up behind me when I'm moving on the road. It doesn't help that I have to pop out of it on the way home and make a left turn going up hill.

For me the roundabout is way more dangerous than the intersection was before.
