Roundabouts are funny things.

In Farmville, a little town near where I live, they are wanting to put a roundabout in place of this intersection that is confusing as it is. It basically has two sets of lights in the same intersection. The town is split on it and the ones that are against it aren't just not for it, they are vehemently against it. Kind of like the "No Pipeline" people in Nelson county, if you are familiar with that. I for one like roundabouts. It keeps traffic moving and they always make me think of European Vacation.
