Drink water

Welcome to the west. As you dry out, your skin is going to change in the long term (for the worse, use lotion)...and in the short term, drink way more water than you think you should. Also, very soon, begin to pity the poor people who have to live with humidity and clouds.

Utah's a good place, we go exploring along the eastern border a lot, usually around the San Rafael Swell and into the canyons of Colorado.
