Wife & I sold all our stuff (married 35 years at the time) in an estate

sale a few years ago. We were making some lifestyle changes, downsizing, and moving overseas. We knew at some point we'd be moving back but we didn't want to store stuff and we knew we'd just yard sale it whenever we returned. So we jettisoned all of it in an estate sale. Avoided storage costs, thinking and worrying about our shit while gone, etc. It was a pretty freeing experience.
