That seems like a much bigger win for the PAC than for the B1G to me. Also,

the B1G has been big about contiguous states being an important part of their strategy. I realize it is just scheduling, but especially for the other sports besides football and basketball, the traveling would be pretty rough on the students. I would not be surprised if that's why they pulled out the last time this was talked about.
