Actually that's what I have been saying on TSL for 15 years. 2 networks are

the primary networks for the NFL and I can see the same in college football. There are 32 teams in the NFL and there will most likely be 64 in the top tier of college football. I think the G-5 will eventually have their own national championship and I think the top of the FCS like Madison will join them. I heard 15 years ago that the Academies would be a part of the Power Conferences "if" they wanted to, but they may like the idea of having a legitimate shot at winning the G-5 national championship and still playing the occasional P64 team (ie. ND versus Navy).

As far as WVU, they would be a natural with ND to finish off the ACC, but any of the P4 would take Texas in a heart beat. ESPN clearly has shown they will fight for Texas. Where they would land in the P4 is the most interesting topic for me. Let's look at each P4 for Texas.

PAC means ESPN lost them and they are grouped with West Coast teams. Not so sure their biggest exposure is to the West and the 2010 agreement fell apart because Texas wanted special treatment.
B!G again means ESPN lost them. Not without a dog fight on that one. No way they get special treatment.
SEC means they lose their status of being a number 1, they would be tier 2 in that conference for football and I don't think A&M wants them in the conference and definitely no special treatment like they are used to getting while in the Big 12.
ACC, they are on an island, but ESPN retains them and they like being special, much like the Cowboys are special and get East Coast exposure and fans in the NFC East. The ACC treats ND special, why not one more power house brand?
