No. 8 Virginia Tech women’s basketball opens its season on Monday, Nov. 6, vs. High Point (5 p.m. ET, ACC Network). What does this team look like after a historic 2022-23 campaign?

This is more of a general overview since we’ve covered the team in-depth over the offseason. Head coach Kenny Brooks received a contract extension, Tech hired Jauwan Scaife as a new assistant coach and released its non-conference and ACC schedules. The Hokies also added a number of newcomers, including four top-100 freshmen that could have impacts this year, and opened practice in late October.
